Position Overview
As a DevOps Engineer at Classera, you'll be a key player in creating and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our advanced EdTech platforms. You'll work on automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure a fast, reliable, and scalable environment. Collaborating closely with development and operations teams, you'll help streamline processes and enhance platform performance, enabling Classera's mission of revolutionizing education through technology.
Experience
2+ years in DevOps, with skills in cloud platforms, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Management: Architect and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to streamline software releases.
- Configuration Management: Use Ansible for consistent, automated application deployment and configuration across environments.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana) for proactive system health management.
- Kubernetes Management: Design and manage Kubernetes clusters to support scalable, resilient applications.
- Database Proxy & Caching: Optimize ProxySQL and Redis to maintain high availability and low-latency data access.
- Automation: Streamline repetitive tasks across the DevOps lifecycle to improve efficiency.
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Operate resources on Azure, AWS, OCI, or Alibaba Cloud for secure, scalable cloud management.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform for code-driven infrastructure management.
- ElasticSearch Management: Maintain and optimize ElasticSearch for enhanced data indexing and search.
- Database Management: Administer MySQL for optimized data access and query performance.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Skilled in Ansible for configuration automation.
- Proficient in Grafana or similar monitoring tools.
- Expertise in Kubernetes management and deployment.
- Experience with ProxySQL and Redis for data management.
- Proficient in cloud management (Azure, AWS, OCI, or Alibaba Cloud).
- Familiar with Terraform for IaC.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch and MySQL database optimization.
