Position Overview: The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for integrating security practices into our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the development and deployment processes are secure and efficient. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices and tools that protect our systems and data.
Develop, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Apply cybersecurity principles to all stages of the development and deployment processes.
Configure and manage security for cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.- Automate security tasks using programming languages like Python and Bash.
Conduct code reviews and apply secure coding practices to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Utilize dynamic and static code analysis tools, as well as vulnerability management tools, to ensure code security.
Ensure compliance with data security standards such as GDPR and ISO - Collaborate effectively with development, operational, and management teams to communicate security requirements and improvements.
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance security and DevOps practices.
A degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in DevSecOps or similar roles, with a proven track record of developing secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, etc.- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including security configuration and management.
- Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python and Bash.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and ability to conduct code reviews.- Proficiency with security tools for dynamic and static code analysis, and vulnerability management.
Understanding of security standards and compliance requirements like GDPR, ISO 27001.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.- Proactive and initiative-driven, with a willingness to continuously learn and apply new security technologies.
