Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate DHA Licensed Female Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness, excellent hands-on skills, and a deep understanding of various massage techniques. You will be responsible for delivering personalized massage therapies that meet the specific needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring an exceptional experience every time.
Perform a variety of massage techniques including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and sports massage.
- Assess clients needs and preferences, adjusting the treatments accordingly.
Provide clients with information about different types of massage treatments and recommend appropriate therapies based on individual needs.- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Maintain client records and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Specialized Skills for Rehabilitation and Recovery:
Advanced Knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology
: Understanding of injuries, recovery processes, and the role massage therapy plays in healing.Experience with Rehabilitation Techniques
: Proficiency in rehabilitative massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, and other techniques beneficial for recovery.Pain Management: Expertise in pain relief techniques and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility without exacerbating the injury.
- Patient Interaction and Empathy: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, providing emotional support and setting realistic expectations.
Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals
: Ability to work closely with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and doctors to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for patients.Adaptability and Flexibility
: Skill in customizing treatments based on the patients progress and addressing any issues that arise during therapy. Valid DHA License to practice as a Massage Therapist in Dubai.- Proven experience as a massage therapist in a reputable spa, wellness center, or clinic.
Proficiency in a range of massage techniques.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
