Job Purpose:
The digital media sales manager provides strategic leadership and expertise in our digital product offering: web, display, video, social, content marketing, and advertising in powerhouse editions of a digital magazine and event focused publications.
The sales manager will be responsible for leading the sales team to discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiating deals, while maintaining and growing business with existing customers.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Sales Management
Personal Sales
Delivering personal sales revenues and key account management
People Management
Develop knowledge of sales executive's performance, effectiveness and proficiency through ongoing direct and indirect coaching methods
Support sales team with quarterly action plans to ensure the goals achievement and continuous performance improvement
Planning of resource requirements for the sales function, working with the AVP and HR
Recruiting of all sales employees, including interviews & hiring, working with the AVP and HR
Ensuring that the sales team has appropriate current and future talent in place and that comprehensive training, development, and succession plans are devised, working with the AVP and HR
Develops individual and team capability
Managing and motivating a high-performance sales team
Supporting the team in managing clients, handling objections, brainstorming proposals to ensure they deliver on their targets
Collaborating with other departments to ensure initiatives implemented
Developing sales team's incentive schemes to focus efforts on target attainment
Conducting of bi-annual appraisal system and review career development of each member of the team
Managing people through the internal processes e.g. return to works, appraisals etc.
Working with Marketing
Working with Editorial
Working as the main contact with editorial to ensure the delivery of client's products.
Supporting the development of new products based on feedback from existing and potential clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
2+ years of shown success in a digital media sales management function
4+ years working on a media sales position
Excited and motivated by the fact that your measured performance will drive your compensation and career growth
Fanatical about execution and continuous professional development and improvement
Have a proven track record of exceeding performance goals
Goal-oriented and have accountability for your work
Outstanding eye for business and able to use technology depth, breadth, signals, and data to understand opportunities to shape business growth initiatives
Able to work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
Able to utilize digital sales tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals
Comfortable with developing, implementing, managing and executing through influence across a cross-functional set of senior stakeholders
Adaptable in a rapidly changing environment
A bonus would be having experience within the energy sector
