Job Description

Role Purpose

The D&T Solution Lead Supply Chain is responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital solutions that enhance and streamline our supply chain operations (Integrated Business Planning, Customer Service & Logistics). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create multiyear digital strategy, compiling business case, identify business needs, design innovative solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of technology within the supply chain function.

D&T Solution Lead will be seen as go to expert for all digital solution's Idea to Operation for Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse Planning and Management, Transportation Planning and Management, Route Planning and Optimization, Global Track and Trace, Order to Cash (Order to Delivery) etc.

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the multiyear strategic roadmap for Supply Chain technology in alignment with organizational goals
  • Lead a Partner team of professionals, including engineers and analysts, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Collaborate with cross functional digital and diverse functional team ensure on time in cost delivery of advanced technologies

Solution Design and Development:

  • Lead the design and development of IBP (SAP IBP), Customer Service and Logistics solutions (SAP WMS) that align with business requirements and operational goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, gather requirements, and develop solutions
  • Ensure that digital solutions are scalable, dependable, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems

Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, including planning, execution, and deployment
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project objectives on schedule and within scope as per dev-ops/agile principles
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and address any project-related issues

System Implementation and Optimization:

  • Supervise the deployment and configuration of digital systems, including hardware and software components
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure systems meet operational requirements and performance standards

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the development and integration of digital solutions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supply chain digital systems, including architecture, configurations, and user manuals

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect digital systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies related to digital systems
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to maintain system integrity and security

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Function as the primary point of contact for digital solution-related inquiries and support.
  • Engage with business units, cross functional IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful solution deployment and integration
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate effective utilization/adoption of digital solutions

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational performance
  • Evaluate modern technologies and tools that could be leveraged to advance digital capabilities and drive efficiency

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

  • 15+ Years of experience in operational technology, industrial automation, or a related field

Functional Knowledge

  • Proven experience in managing and leading supply chain digital technology projects and teams using SAP Platform e.g. SAP IBP, SAP WMS etc
  • Strong understanding of supply chain systems, including Integrated Business Planning, Order to Cash, Warehouse Management systems, Transportation Management System, Globa track and Trace, Route optimization, network optimization
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong Project Delivery experience using dev ops and agile methodology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CISP, SAP IBP, Blye Yonder) are a plus
