Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director to lead our recruitment efforts within the Asset Management space based in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in recruitment, a deep understanding of focusing on front office, hedge fund and investment practice and a proven track record in driving business growth through strategic leadership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy across Dubai and the wider Middle East region.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team achieves and exceeds recruitment targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing innovative recruitment solutions tailored to the financial sector.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, expanding our client base and enhancing market presence in Dubai and regional financial hubs.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to drive informed decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring efficient operations and maximizing profitability.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and expand professional networks within the financial sector.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on recruitment activities, business development initiatives, and key performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in recruitment, with at least 5 years in leadership roles focused on front office recruitment within hedge funds and investment practices.
  • Sector Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing recruitment operations within the financial sector, preferably in Dubai or similar global financial centers.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and business development skills with a proven ability to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of front office recruitment dynamics within hedge funds and investment sectors.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is advantageous.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt strategies to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Technology: Proficiency in recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
