The successful candidate for this role will work closely with the L&D teams in our hotels to enhance employee skills and performance, help achieve consistency in service quality, focus on employee engagement and retention, adaptability to industry trends is essential and to assist the hotel teams in cultivating a learning culture while focus greatly on leadership development.

Job Description
As Director of Learning & Development, you will be responsible for the following;
- Align the learning culture to Ennismore standards
- Localize learning materials
- Create a tailored / uniform on-boarding & induction experience
- Analyze Learning Needs of all properties
- Ensure compliance to Ennismore People & Culture guidelines
- Drive Talent Management activities (aligned to Ennismore)
- Lead the hotels L&D professionals to drive daily training activities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Ennismore culture & Rixos standards.
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for all levels of hotel employees.
- Identify training needs through ongoing assessments, feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, and guest feedback.
- Collaborate with department to localize content and materials for training programs, ensuring relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with Ennismore standards.
- Oversee the delivery of training sessions, utilizing a variety of methods and technologies to engage learners and maximize learning outcomes.
Qualifications
BA or equivalent in HM, Education, Business Administration, Psychology
5+ years experience in hotel industry, in a luxury environment
3+ years in a cluster L&D Leadership role
Proficiency in English, Arabic & Digital tools
Ability to live in Sharm El Sheikh and to travel extensively around Egypt
Ability to facilitate training for different leadership levels in English & Arabic
Ability to negotiate & convince
Organizational & planning skills
Your KPIs Will Be Related To
EES - RPS, P&C guidelines Compliance, Training hours, Training Budget, Performance Management
Strong understanding of hotel operations
