Job Description:

Position Summary: As the Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of the business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the businesses market presence. Your extensive experience in the hospitality sector will be crucial in understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to ensure continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities and potential revenue streams.
  • Create actionable business plans to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Partnerships and Networking:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and clients.
  • Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships to enhance business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, making adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of business development professionals.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development.
  • Hospitality industry experience
  • Proven track record of successful business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Experience in the Riyadh market or the Middle East region is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
