Role Summary:
The Director, Government Relations will interact with Real-Estate authorities and other government agencies across the region to represent and protect the organization's business plans and interests as well as to make sure the best practices are shared between regulators of different countries. This role will oversee and manage a liaison program between the organization and various legislative entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitors, analyzes, interprets and steers government programs, policies, legislations and other activities that impact the company strategy
- Provides advice on the implications due to regulatory agenda based on company strategy.
- Evaluates emerging and longer-term opportunities and threats from potential policy changes and advises senior management accordingly
- Creates and/or identifies opportunities for government officials to participate in PF activities, events and initiatives
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to proactively project manage a solid cross-functional PF government agenda
- Support the drafting of media and other communications and support materials aimed at advancing the broader advocacy goals of Property Finder
- Joins trade associations and industry committees and seeks leadership roles.
- Collaborates with industry advocates to build areas of common interest.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, or related field required; MBA or law degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in advocacy or public policy required.
- Excellent Project Management Skills and use of PM tools.
- Public speaking, communication skills, presentation skills, data translation skills.
- Native Arabic and Fluent English is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
