The Director of Recruitment will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that attracts, recruits, and retains top talent for a global powerhouse in the construction industry, whilst being hands on with hiring and building a new team.
The ideal candidate will need to have Recruitment Agency Experience, with a hustler mindset, understand how to pitch/sell, and can be hands on with recruiting whilst also running and building a team.
Whilst Agency experience preferred, we are open to in-house recruiters too that have worked in an agency early in their career.
You'll work closely with senior managers and department heads, been hands on and hiring for senior level positions.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Continue to develop a talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.
- Team Building: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team to ensure effective and efficient recruitment processes.
- Hands-On Recruiting: Actively participate in recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and engaging top talent and negotiating offers etc...
- Recruitment Process Optimization: Streamline and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring quality.
- Employer Branding: Promote and strengthen the company's employer brand to attract top talent across various channels.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Hands-on experience in recruiting and engaging with candidates directly.
