Kleindienst Group is looking for a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to join its newest 5* hotel Nice at the World Islands in Dubai.
Role:
The role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and achieve occupancy and revenue targets for the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the hotel's sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives and brand standard
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, adjusting strategies as needed.
Sales Management:
- Lead the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and conversion efforts across all market segment.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support to the sales team to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to drive business growth.
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to enhance brand visibility and attract target audiences.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing, to increase online presence and direct bookings.
- Collaborate with the PR team to manage media relations, press releases, and public relations activities.
Revenue Management:
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to develop and implement pricing strategies, promotional offers, and distribution plans to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive performance to make informed pricing and inventory decisions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- :Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the annual sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business goals.
- Monitor and control expenses, track budget performance, and report variances to the management
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, marketing activities, and ROI to the Commercial Director and senior management.
- Use analytics and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA isa plus).
- Minimum 6 year experience in Hotel Room sales preferably in UAE. At least 2 years in a similar capacity with a 4/5* Hotel in the region.
- Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced training in sales techniques, digital marketing, brand management, and market analysis is essential.
