Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Sales role:
- The Director of Sales is responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy to meet the financial goals of the hotel. This is an exciting and dynamic role that focuses on a variety of tasks including driving sales activities, contributing to the hotel strategy, and managing a large team.
- Developing revenue streams and maximizing the profitability of the hotel
- Defining the product in line with the positioning of the brand
- Implementing and regularly reviewing the commercial strategy of the hotel
- Forecasting hotel revenues and preparing reports
- Manage the sales budget in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager
- Manage all aspects of the sales team including; recruitment, developing a new team, managing performance, and building capabilities
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Manager in a luxury international brand hotel.
- Good understanding of selling techniques and marketing approaches.
- Computer skills in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Delphi/RESERVE will be an asset.
