Job Description

The 430-room luxury resort Grand Hyatt The Red Sea on Shura Island will occupy a prime position within the innovative tourist development by the Red Sea. Grand Hyatt The Red Sea will be the second Grand Hyatt hotel in the Kingdom and the seventh Grand Hyatt hotel in the Middle East, marking an important milestone in Hyatt's growth strategy in the region. The property will be designed to reflect the bold and vibrant luxury synonymous with the Grand Hyatt brand, featuring sophisticated design, materials and decor inspired by the iconic elements present in the destination.

For this eagerly awaited new opening in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a

Director of Sales

Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will beresponsible to assist in providing leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximise sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:

  • To create and lead the Sales team on a day to day basis
  • To act as a reliable business partner to ensure a successful opening
  • To help create and execute the Sales and Marketing plan ensuring that all relevant markets are covered and that the plan is measured on a bi-weekly basis
  • To pro-actively develop new markets and new business segments
