Industry: Governmental Strategic Planning and Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and scalable strategy to expand the organization's branches across Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with the nation's goals and emergency response priorities.
- Lead the establishment of operational models and governance structures for new branches, ensuring they are consistent with the organization's high standards in crisis management.
- Collaborate with national authorities to ensure the strategy is in line with national emergency response policies, regulatory frameworks, and governmental objectives.
- Design and implement a robust organizational structure that enhances the organization's crisis and emergency response capabilities, ensuring readiness across all new and existing branches.
- Oversee the coordination between new branches and existing entities, establishing protocols for communication, quick response, and optimal resource allocation during emergencies.
- Continuously evaluate the organization's crisis management architecture to adapt to emerging challenges and best practices.
- Serve as an expert advisor on regulations and compliance related to crisis management in Saudi Arabia.
- Work closely with government bodies to ensure that all operations adhere to national and international standards for disaster preparedness, civil protection, and humanitarian assistance.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership on regulatory changes, challenges, and risks.
- Lead collaborative efforts with governmental agencies, local authorities, and private sector entities to ensure the successful integration of new branches.
- Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote shared goals in crisis management and enhance the organization's reputation across Saudi Arabia.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external partners, facilitating partnerships that support national and international crisis management initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of strategy and crisis management experts, ensuring they are well-equipped to support the organization's expansion and emergency management objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of global trends in crisis management and strategic planning.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the team to ensure unified execution of the organization's mission and strategic goals.
- Stay updated on global trends, technologies, and best practices in crisis management and strategic planning.
- Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies, data analytics, and AI solutions to enhance the organization's crisis response capabilities.
- Introduce best practices and continuous improvement methodologies into the organization's operations and strategic planning processes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Policy, Strategic Planning, Crisis Management, or a related field.
- Preferred management consulting, strategy development, or crisis management certifications from recognized institutions like BCG or PMI.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, crisis management, or public administration, focusing on large-scale government initiatives.
- Proven track record in leading and executing complex strategic projects within governmental or national frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi regulations, government structures, and crisis management protocols, with the ability to influence these systems.
- Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and strategic outcomes.
