Yard Section Foremen
Purpose:
To receive information about the schedule of vessels in the docks.
To obtain approval for any repair works if necessary.
To ensure safety and environmental compliance for all docking operations
To communicate with foreman to execute on time maintenance/ repairs
External Communication:
Port Pilots
Port Authority
Purpose:
To explain the draft of the floating dock and exchange information, as required, during docking and undocking operation
Approval for docking/ undocking.
Obtain weather updates and to exchange other marine notifications/ information.
Occupational Health & Safety and Environment
Accountability:
Are accountable for their acts and omissions.
Responsibility:
To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.
Authority:
To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.
