Job Summary And Purpose
Manage and control the project's document files, updating project's budget, and entry and identification of all documents into the project's data management system in accordance with the adopted Document Policy for the project. Act as focal point for the complete project team and for data transmission from each site office in Korea and ship owners in Doha. Ensure all engineering drawings and related communications are transmitted to the correct recipients and in a timely manner and maintain the contractual obligations unique to each individual vessel design. ensure all the relevant data is held on file and made available to the SPMT, Engineering support team and site construction teams as and when required.
Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain the data base in the management program for identifying and recording all project documents.
- Input all documents and other data into the system in a timely manner, usually on the day received, including document identification and entry in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Set up and maintain the data management program for identifying and recording all documents in the project's engineering surveillance database.
- Act as primary focal point for communication and document handling for the engineering teams, site teams and Owners teams around the world.
- Satisfactory receipt and indexing of data transmitted from each of the above locations.
- Ensure that all engineering drawings and related communications are transmitted to the correct recipients maintaining contractual obligations.
- Ensure entry and identification of all design phase documentation into the project's data management system.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills
- Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, or related technical field.
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years experience in a project environment, preferably the oil and gas industry with a ship owner/operator, responsible for the design and construction of large vessels.
- Knowledge of ships and marine nomenclature.
Job Specific Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Proficient in the use of word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software (especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), including the ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
- Ability to work with figures and to present summary figures in a clear, concise manner.
