DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans. This role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and designers to develop and revise designs that meet project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing & Design:

Develop detailed shop drawings for joinery works, including furniture, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork, using Auto CAD or similar software.

• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings that guide the manufacturing and installation processes.

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements into overall fit-out projects.

• Participate in design meetings and site visits to gather information and verify measurements.

Project Management:

• Assist in the preparation of project timelines and ensure that all drawings are completed and submitted on time.

Provide technical support during the production and installation phases, addressing any design-related issues that arise.

Quality Assurance: Review and check all drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.

• Ensure that all joinery elements are designed with a focus on durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman, specifically within the fit-out industry.

Skills: Proficient in Auto CAD, 3D modelling software, and other relevant design tools.

• Strong understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction methods.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in luxury residential or commercial fit-out projects.

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
