Job Description

ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.LC. (ALEC), part of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), is a large construction company with related businesses operating in the GCC with a presence in Africa. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driver for our corporate office

Job Description:

  • Safely transport employees & equipment to site locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner
  • Check vehicle on a daily basis ensuring all systems i.e., brakes, tires, lights, indicators, horn, clutch, coolant and battery levels are functioning properly, and the emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
  • Maintain the service and appearance of vehicle.
  • Follow delivery/pickup instructions and perform any other duties as assigned by the Administration Officer.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the Administration Officer.
  • Operates vehicle in a safe and proper manner and obeys local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Handover and/or take over from/to the Administration Officer to be fulfilled while going on leave and/or coming back from leave.

Requirements:

  • Valid KSA Driver's License for light duty vehicles.
  • 2-3 years of KSA experience as a Light Duty Driver.
  • Familiarity with KSA routes and roads.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Secondary or Post-Secondary Education.
  • Proficiency in the English
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
