Driver

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Food Item Transportation:

- Pickup and Delivery: Safely transport food items from the cafe to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

- Handling: Ensure proper handling of food items to maintain quality and prevent damage.

- Inventory Checks: Verify and check the inventory before and after deliveries to ensure accuracy.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including recipient information and delivery times.

• 2. Staff Transportation:

- Pickup and Drop-off: Provide transportation for staff members to and from the cafe and other designated locations as needed.

- Scheduling: Coordinate with the cafe manager and staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs according to work schedules.

- Safety: Ensure the safety of all passengers by following traffic laws and safe driving practices.

• 3. Vehicle Maintenance:

- Routine Checks: Conduct regular checks on the vehicle's condition, including fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and other essential systems.

- Cleaning: Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times, both inside and out.

- Repairs: Report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs to the management promptly.

• 4. Compliance and Safety:

- Traffic Laws: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety and avoid violations.

- Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, especially those related to food transportation.

- Manual Driving License: Hold and maintain a valid manual driving license as required by UAE regulations.

• 5. Customer Service:

- Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers and staff.

- Problem-Solving: Handle any issues or complaints that arise during deliveries or transportation in a calm and effective manner.

• 6. Additional Duties:

- Assistance: Assist with other cafe operations as needed, such as loading and unloading deliveries.

- Flexibility: Be flexible with work hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Qualifications:

- Valid manual driving license in the UAE.

- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in food transportation or a similar role.

- Good knowledge of Dubai's road network and traffic regulations.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- High level of reliability and punctuality.

• Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).

- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

- Good vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices.
