Role Description
The Dynamics CRM Administrator will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of our Dynamics CRM environment. This role does not require development experience but demands a strong understanding of CRM functionalities, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). The ideal candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues related to the current setup and ensuring high availability through effective management of multiple nodes and clustering.
What You'll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Dynamics CRM Setup and Configuration:
- Assist in the initial setup and configuration of Dynamics CRM to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with IT to integrate Dynamics CRM with Azure Active Directory and ADFS.
- High Availability and Clustering:
- Ensure high availability of the Dynamics CRM system through effective management of multiple nodes and clustering configurations.
- Implement best practices for system redundancy and failover strategies.
System Maintenance:
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the CRM setup, configurations, and procedures.
Provide regular reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions to management.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the current Dynamics CRM setup.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with Dynamics CRM administration.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and ADFS.
- Understanding of clustering, high availability, and multi-node setups.
- Experience with system monitoring and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (previously Dynamics CRM).
- Familiarity with Power Platform tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and data management.
- Experience in JavaScript, C#, and .NET for custom development within Dynamics CRM.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for user interface customization.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and find resolutions.
- Analytical thinking for interpreting business requirements into CRM functionalities.
Project Management Skills:
- Capable of managing CRM project timelines and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and coordinate projects from development to deployment.
CRM Systems Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of CRM principles, workflows, and data models.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) best practices and how they apply to different business scenarios. Microsoft Ecosystem:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services.
- Understanding of Microsoft ecosystem integration and its role within Dynamics CRM.
Business Process Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service processes to understand how CRM solutions can enhance these areas.
- Awareness of data security and compliance within CRM systems, including GDPR and other regulatory standards.
Customization and Configuration:
- Ability to customize forms, workflows, and entities in Dynamics CRM to meet specific business needs.
- Proficient in creating custom dashboards and reports for end-users.
Communication Skills:
- Strong communication skills to work with end-users and stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide training.
- Ability to document CRM configurations and project updates clearly and concisely.
