Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an experienced Dynatrace Specialist - APM Engineer who will be responsible for providing customers with technical support and troubleshooting issues surrounding Dynatrace software. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities and experience with application performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage the Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring (APM) platform to monitor the performance and availability of critical applications and services.
- Design and implement custom monitoring solutions within Dynatrace APM to accurately capture key performance metrics and user interactions across diverse application environments.
- Analyze application performance data collected by Dynatrace APM, identifying performance bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with application development teams to instrument code for enhanced visibility into application performance and troubleshooting capabilities within Dynatrace APM.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts within Dynatrace APM to provide real-time insights into application health and performance trends.
- Participate in incident response and problem management activities, leveraging Dynatrace APM data to expedite root cause analysis and resolution of application issues.
- Provide training and guidance to IT teams on Dynatrace APM best practices, usage, and configuration to maximize the value of the platform across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application performance monitoring and management, with a focus on the Dynatrace platform.
- Proven experience deploying, configuring, and managing Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions.
- Strong understanding of application architectures, including web applications, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or PowerShell is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Dynatrace Certified Implementation Professional (ACIP) or Cisco Certified DevNet Professional (DevNet Professional) are a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Java and .NET is a plus
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure is a plus
- Fluency in English is required. Arabic is a plus
