Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled E-commerce Online Merchandiser to enhance our online store's product presentation and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will manage the product catalog, execute effective merchandising strategies, and collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless online experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Catalog Management: Oversee the online product catalog, ensuring accuracy in product details, high-quality images, and compelling descriptions.
- Merchandising Strategy Execution: Develop and implement strategies that increase online sales and conversion rates, including product recommendations, cross-selling, upselling, and bundling.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Commercial, and Product Development teams to align merchandising initiatives with brand standards and business objectives.
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze sales data and web metrics to identify trends, optimize product placement, and provide data-driven recommendations for enhanced merchandising.
- Customer Feedback Management: Monitor and respond to product reviews and ratings promptly, addressing customer feedback to improve the overall shopping experience.
- Industry Insights: Stay informed on the latest e-commerce trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in online merchandising, e-commerce, or a similar role, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and product information management (PIM) systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting data to drive actionable insights and merchandising decisions.
- Meticulous in maintaining product information, quality control of visuals, and consistency across the online catalog.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction.
- A deep understanding of the customer journey and a focus on delivering an exceptional online experience.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and stay updated on e-commerce trends and online merchandising innovations.
