Our client which is a leading FMCG company based in Sharjah is looking for a Sales E-commerce Specialist who would be responsible for managing and growing the online sales channels of their company. This role involves developing and executing online sales strategies, optimizing online presence, analyzing sales data and ensuring customer satisfaction. The candidate will work closely with the marketing team to drive e-commerce sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1.E-commerce Strategy Development:
- Lead the overall ecommerce/online business strategy for the organization and its brands
- Develop and implement effective e-commerce sales strategies to achieve business objectives, sales targets etc
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create overarching marketing calendar, promotional campaigns and visibility campaigns as per overall brand and business guidelines
- Manage and track ecommerce marketing budgets
2.Sales & Operations Management:
- Manage and oversee daily online sales operations across various e-commerce platforms (e.g. Noon Minutes, Talabat Mart, Careem, Deliveroo, Kibsons and may more).
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and generate sales reports
- Liaise with platform partners to identify new sales opportunities and market trends to maximize revenue
3.Platform Management:
- Optimize product listings, descriptions, and images to enhance visibility and attract customers.
- Ensure pricing strategies are competitive and in line with company goals
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
4.Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify trends and insights
- Provide regular performance reports to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and campaigns
5.Communication:
- Build and manage relationships on behalf of the organization with platform partners
- Liaise with external partners, suppliers, internal stakeholders (supply chain, logistics, marketing etc) to ensure smooth delivery of products and implementation of campaigns
6.Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to improve online sales processes and enhance the customer experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field
- Proven experience in e-commerce sales or a similar role
- Ideal candidate will have established relationships with platform partners in the UAE
- Strong understanding of online sales strategies, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing
- Proficient in using e-commerce platforms (e.g. Grocery, Aggregator Platforms). Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, Google Analytics tools will be added advantage
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing techniques will be added advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
