Job Description
We are working with a large utility company in Saudi Arabia, recruiting an Executive Director of Corporate Planning to steer the organisation s strategic and financial planning. This executive role demands proficiency in managing comprehensive budgeting processes, capital planning, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and strategic capital allocation to align financial resources with the company s long-term goals.
The role is based full-time in Riyadh and in line with the Saudization targets, you MUST be a Saudi National to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
Budgeting and Forecasting: Direct the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting updates, analysing financial trends and advising on fiscal efficiencies and potential areas of improvement.
Capital Planning and Allocation: Manage capital resources efficiently, overseeing significant capital expenditures and investments in line with strategic priorities.
Performance Management: Develop financial performance measures that support the company s strategic direction and operational goals.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with other corporate officers, board members, and stakeholders regarding the company s financial plans and strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Master s Degree or MBA preferred.
Extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning, typically 10+ years, with a proven track record in a similar leadership role.
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
