Maintenance Engineer:
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a background in the FMCG industry to take on the responsibility of maintaining the good condition and functionality of the production line. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and performing maintenance tasks, including Mechanical and electrical installations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge, experience, and skills in Electrical Systems such as gearboxes, Motors, Pumps, VFDs, Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, heaters, and fans. You should also have PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.), and knowledge of classic electrical control Systems such as Electrical drawing, Sensors, Relays, Timers & counters, Potentiometers, Thermometers, Pressure Transmitters, Controllers, Indicators, Thermocouples, in addition to solid knowledge in utilities such AC packaged AC, Freezers and air compressors.
Activities:
1. Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
2. Conduct regular inspections and condition assessments of both electrical/mechanical systems to identify potential issues and prioritize maintenance activities.
3. Plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks, including routine inspections, lubrication, and calibration of electrical components.
4. Coordinate with operations and production teams to schedule maintenance downtime and minimize disruption to bakery production schedules.
5. Monitor and report machine reliability, MTTR, MTBF, Breakdown rate, and MCM.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and spare parts inventory, to support data-driven decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Conduct root cause analysis for complex problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
8. Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and specifications.
9. Collaborate with engineering and production departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
10. Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies required for maintenance activities.
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related field.
Preferred: 2 years in Food Manufacturing (Bakery will be preferred).
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
