We are looking for a proficient Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the electrical design, implementation, and maintenance of various utility systems, including Combined Cycle Power Plants, Storm Water Networks, Wastewater Networks, Potable Water Systems, and Irrigation Networks. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems within these infrastructures, along with strong project management skills and adherence to regulatory standards.
Your new role, what's involved
Combined Cycle Power Plant
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for combined cycle power plants.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of power generation systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical and civil engineers to integrate electrical systems.
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Storm Water Network
- Design and implement electrical control systems for storm water management.
- Integrate electrical components with hydraulic systems to enhance efficiency.
- Work with urban planners and civil engineers to ensure cohesive system designs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and electrical safety standards.
Wastewater Network
- Design and oversee electrical systems for wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
- Implement control and automation solutions to enhance wastewater treatment processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
- Ensure systems meet regulatory standards and operate efficiently.
Potable Water Systems
- Design and manage electrical systems for potable water supply and distribution.
- Implement electrical solutions to maintain water quality and supply reliability.
- Collaborate with municipal authorities to ensure system integration and compliance.
- Develop maintenance and emergency response plans for electrical components.
Irrigation Network
- Design and maintain electrical systems for efficient irrigation networks.
- Implement smart irrigation technologies and automation for water conservation.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of irrigation systems.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in utility systems including power plants, water, and wastewater systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming, SCADA systems).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
