Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the execution of substation projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and HSE engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Oversee and review detailed electrical engineering designs and drawings for substations.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize solutions for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in substations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for electrical engineering works.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on substation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to substation projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
