We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrical Systems Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Dubai.
What youll do:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, design principles, testing and commissioning and troubleshooting along with knowledge on applicable codes. Responsibilities include remote & InSite tech support, analyzing and implementing LV electrical systems troubleshooting and rectification process for C/I , DC and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide all tech support for LV electrical systems for Commercial & Industrial projects including O&G for power distribution and control systems
Project management and planning .
Analyze electrical load requirements, calculate voltage drop, and determine root cause of faults . circuit protection to propose optimized LV solutions
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Close engagement with Consultants/PMCs for technical approvals.
Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to network of Panel Builders
Stay up-to-date on latest electrical codes and standards
Collaborate with End Users/Contractors & Consultants on project development and early engagement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for industrial applications
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC other applicable electrical codes and standards
Proficient in electrical design software
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
