Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician specializing in cold storage systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within cold storage facilities. This role requires expertise in electrical systems specific to refrigeration and cold storage environments, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment related to cold storage units, including refrigeration systems, control panels, and lighting.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in cold storage systems, including circuit boards, wiring, and sensors.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.System Upgrades:
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to upgrade electrical systems to improve efficiency and performance.Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems and components to prevent potential issues and minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including detailed reports and system documentation.
Emergency Response:
Provide on-call support and respond to electrical emergencies related to cold storage systems as needed.Collaboration:
Work closely with other maintenance staff, contractors, and engineers to ensure seamless operation and integration of electrical systems within cold storage facilities.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.Certification:
Valid electrician license/certification as required by local regulations.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an electrician, with a focus on cold storage or refrigeration systems.
