Job Title: Electronics Technician
Good foundation in electrical theory
Electrical maintenance/troubleshooting experience
Must be able to read, understand, and update electrical schematics
Must possess basic computer skills
Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
Mechanical skills, experience using basic shop tools
Knowledge of motion control, robotics, and automation
Installing and repairing electronic equipment
Set up electronic systems and devices
Aligning and calibrating cables and wiring
Assemble and connect system components (e.g. cables, Motors)
Build prototype models based on technical guidelines
Service and update existing electronic systems
Estimate damage and calculate the cost of materials
Test system functionality
Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
Read and comprehend Wiring diagrams
Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks
Use various tools to build and repair systems
Soldering SMD Components if need to change.
Education: Associate's degree or postsecondary certificate in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or five to ten years related experience
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, electrical circuits, and automation
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Would include ability to weld, electrical, and carry heavy materials.
