As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of our email marketing campaigns. You will oversee the entire email marketing platform, ensuring effective communication with a large database of 1 million subscribers. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling email content, segmenting lists, analyzing campaign performance, and driving engagement to support our marketing and business goals.
Email Campaign Strategy and Development:- Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns that align with the overall marketing strategy.
Design, write, and proofread email content that resonates with target audiences.- Create engaging and visually appealing email templates using HTML/CSS or through email marketing platforms.
Ensure all email content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for user experience.
Manage and maintain a robust email database of over 1 million subscribers.- Implement advanced segmentation strategies to target specific customer groups and optimize engagement.
Ensure the accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance of the email database with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Regularly monitor and clean the database to remove inactive or unsubscribed users.
Platform Management:
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of the email marketing platform.
Ensure seamless integration of the email marketing platform with CRM and other marketing tools.
- Optimize platform usage, ensuring efficiency in managing a large subscriber base.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.
Generate detailed reports to assess the performance of email campaigns and provide insights for future improvements.
- Use A/B testing and other methods to continuously refine and optimize email campaigns.
Report on ROI and suggest actionable insights to improve overall email marketing performance.Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all email marketing activities comply with current email marketing best practices and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing.
Implement strategies to improve deliverability, reduce bounce rates, and minimize spam complaints.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, preferably with large-scale databases.
Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid) and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS for email template design.
Experience with database segmentation and targeted email campaigns.- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
Knowledge of email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM laws, and GDPR compliance.
