Synopsis
The ERP System Manager is an important role within the Emergency Response Planning Department with responsibility for overseeing and managing IT systems and initiatives that support our airline's readiness for crisis situations. This role requires a strong background in IT Systems management and a deep understanding of the aviation industry.The ERP Systems Manager ensures the Airlines Emergency Response Incident Management System and all other support IT system within the ERC are ready to respond any time upon the Emergency-Response-Centre activation. The role is required to be up to date with evolving internal and external processes and ensure that all systems and users are aligned to them in a timely manner. Cross functional capability among the other roles within the department is also an expectation where familiarity with the Emergency Response Manual, Regulatory requirements, Station emergency processes, Special Assistance Team engagement are vital aspects.
Accountabilities
Ensuring the Emergency Response Incident Management Software is always ready to respond to crisis situations, in collaboration with the Airlines IT Department and the Software Vendor. This includes both Web and Mobile application. Ensure that Incident Management Team and Special Assistance Team members have access and correct permissions to the system .Collaborate with the Manager Emergency Response Planning to understand any changes to the Airlines Emergency Response Manual and/or any changes to external processes such as General-Civil-Aviation-Authority regulations, assess any need for changes to the system and apply changes with communication to the incident management team as required .Attain approval for User Stories and Acceptance Criteria from the Senior Manager Emergency-Response-Planning after review with the Emergency-Response-Planning Team and any relevant business stakeholder(s) .Regular engagement with Emergency-Response-Planning System supplier for updates of the backlog development .Solution Review with the Emergency-Response-Planning System vendor and coordinate feedback from internal teams. Making sure that User Guides, Administrator Guides and online training documentation are up-to-date Carry out new and refresher System Training on intervals agreed with the Senior Manager Emergency-Response-Planning . Provide direct support on site if the Emergency-Response-centre is activated this includes but not limited to running the main dashboard that is displayed in the video wall
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-10 years experience in IT systems management, preferably within the aviation or travel industry. 5+ years of airline airport operations experience an advantage Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced knowledge of processes and technologies related to the aviation sector in Operations and/or Commercial domains.
