An investigator is a professional person who specializes in researching and investigating various cases and issues with the aim of gathering facts and evidence. Investigators can work in multiple areas, including financial, technical, and ethical violations.
Job Responsibilities &Duties:
- Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including: Conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews; Analyzing data from various internal systems; Case management; Proposing remedial action based on investigation findings; Provide recommendations to HR/Operations teams; Partner with LP and Business Conduct & Ethics teams
- Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively
- Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback
- Provide strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues
- Partner to engage in continuous improvement of communication vehicles and practices
- Partner in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for the Operations
- Consult and collaborate with business partners, HR teams, and Legal teams on complex employee investigation
- The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time.
- Balancing time between SLAs and understanding local country demographics will be critical for this role.
- Conduct invisitigation: investigate errors or report errors related to violations or fraud.
- Recording the results of investigations: writing, recording and archiving the results of investigations
Required skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience working as an investigator (minimum one year)
- Knowledge of labor law and legal procedures
