We are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled EMV Expert / Program Manager from all around the world, to contribute to the innovative team of our client, focusing on EMV (Europay Mastercard Visa) technology projects. The ideal candidate will be a domain expert with a comprehensive understanding of EMV specifications, EMV transaction flows, card profiles, terminal specifications, terminal kernels, contactless technologies and EMV integration with OEM wallets like Apple Pay. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing EMV solutions, ensuring adherence to global standards, security protocols, and seamless integration with OEM wallets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture and implementation of robust EMV card solutions, considering nuances in card profiles and specifications.
- Implement advanced cryptographic solutions to fortify the security of EMV card transactions.
- Understanding of card personalization processes, incorporating detailed knowledge of card profiles and specifications.
- Work closely with terminal specifications and kernels, ensuring seamless integration with EMV card solutions. Collaborate with internal and external teams to address interoperability challenges and optimize terminal performance.
- Deep understanding of contactless technologies, including NFC and RFID, and their integration with EMV standards
- Apply expertise in integrating EMV solutions with OEM wallets, such as Apple Pay, ensuring a secure and user-friendly experience
- Possess a profound understanding of EMV transaction flows, encompassing the initiation, authentication, authorization, and settlement phases. Design and optimize transaction flows to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance with EMVCo standards.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to EMV card functionality, transaction processing, cryptographic operations, OEM wallet integration, and transaction flows.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in EMV security standards, ensuring comprehensive compliance across all aspects of the system, including transaction flows.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation related to EMV card configurations, cryptographic implementations, security measures, OEM wallet integrations, and optimized transaction flows.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in managing EMV solutions
- Extensive expertise in EMV specifications, EMVCo standards, cryptographic protocols, contactless technologies, and in-depth understanding of EMV transaction flows.
- Familiarity with OEM wallet technologies, particularly Apple Pay, and experience in integrating EMV solutions with such platforms.
- Industry certifications related to EMV or information security (e.g., PCI-PTS, EMVCo) are highly desirable.
- Understanding of ISO8583 / ISO20022
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a technically challenging environment.
