Who we're looking for:

We are currently hiring an End User Support / Help Desk Specialist with a background in 1st line support and a strong focus on customer's services.

The chosen candidate will work alongside to his collogues providing support on Incidents, problem tickets whilst communicating with the business and providing timelines and frequent updates, in 8x5, with on call shifts during non business hours.

What you'll do:

  • The primary responsibility will be to ensure appropriate customer support service levels and met with SLA for issues that have been escalated from Tier Leve-1 of technology service desk team.
  • The Technical Support Specialist should have the capability to resolve a high percentage of cases on the first touch and utilize high technical skill to solve complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Maintain the stability of daily operations (including on call after business hours).
  • Participate in on-call and Friday | Saturday work rotation.
  • You will be required to remotely work with users who are on site, and to also support them when they are working from home.
  • Implements standards regarding desktop applications, equipment, and policies, etc.
  • Participating upgrade operating systems, install software, etc.
  • Supporting for configuring Outlook, Teams, the office suite, remote connectivity, VPN client, A/V conference setups, and any other support might be needed.
  • Coordinate with whom are onsite from support team to installing end user equipment (monitors, docking stations, headsets, etc.) and replace defected network element that installed across corporate building and its floors.
  • Perform daily check on common technology and Peripherals installed on site (such as conference rooms, printing, etc.).
  • Support to validate relevant impacted services (Internet, common corporate web services / applications, ...etc.) within activity time of change request.
  • Acts as the face of IT and consistently demonstrates a high level of customer service and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
  • This role will also be expected to take part in any number of projects they are called upon; and participating in rollouts this could include anything from a hardware refresh project.

What you'll need:

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Min 3+ years experience in the relevant field.
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Active participation with system administration functions.
  • Actively seeking new ways to solve any issue or challenge.
  • Customer oriented attitude and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work based as part of a larger team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised at times and to prioritize the assigned workload.
  • Passion for Technology and keep with recently updates, and learn master new technologies.
  • A high attention to the detail.
  • Confidence to challenge process and procedures.
  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Fluent English skills.

Technical Knowledge to include but not limited to...

  • Basic understanding for LAN and TCP/IP (DNS, DHCP etc.).
  • Good understanding of authentications and client configurations, AD, Group Policy, and Proxy setting.
  • MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCNA, CISSP, or any other industry certifications are plus.
  • Skills for Anti-Virus and Encryption software are preferable.
  • Third-Part and software installation
  • Java setting and configuration
  • Training or certification in ITSM, ITIL, etc. is also a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows10 and MAC) OS.
  • PC peripherals and mobile phones, printers, VoIP etc.

Important Note: We will only be considering Saudi nationals with an SCE certification.
