JOB PURPOSE:
Jobholders at this level are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives.
Jobholders oversee the implementation of operational plans and the provision of significant improvements to set policies, procedures, standards and reports.
Their main operational role includes proper development as well implementation of Enforcement Policies within ZATCA.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct baseline analysis on enforcement operations within ZATCA in order to pinpoint current enforcement capabilities
- Analyze and evaluate ZATCA's current enforcement policies/practices in order to identify gaps, improvement areas, and needed action plans
- Research best practices and trends to assist the development of an enforcement policy enablement strategy
- Develop standard operating procedures and guidelines for the implementation of policies and regulations ensuring proper establishment and enforcement
- Prepare list of KPIs to monitor the performance of customs enforcement policy
- Conduct research and benchmark best practices aimed to improve current policy enforcement practices at ZATCA
- Conduct needed meetings as well as deliver training sessions to ensure employee awareness/knowledge of newly updated/developed policies
- Develop training material and manuals to educate employees on new changes in enforcement documentation
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law Studies, or equivalent is required
Master's degree in Business Administration, Law Studies, or equivalent is preferred
