Job description:Job Purpose

To create and visualize designs for precast concrete elements or structures, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Accountability Areas

Drafting Software Proficiency: Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, for creating technical drawings efficiently and accurately and should stay updated with the latest software developments and techniques to enhance productivity.Conceptualization and Planning: Developing innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs for precast concrete elements that meet project requirements and specifications. Formwork Design: Develop formwork designs for casting precast concrete elements, considering factors such as geometry, concrete flow, demolding requirements, and efficiency in manufacturing. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers to integrate precast concrete elements into the overall building design, resolve design conflicts, and ensure seamless coordination throughout the construction process.

Role Accountability

Design Development: Creating detailed designs, drawings, and specifications based on project requirements. Visualization and Presentation: Creating visual representations of design concepts and proposals through sketches, renderings, or digital models to communicate ideas effectively to clients. Interpreting Design Requirements: Must interpret and understand engineering designs, sketches, and specifications to accurately translate them into technical drawings. Adhering to Safety Standards: Ensuring that drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations is essential to maintain safety and quality in mechanical engineering projects. Document Management: They may be responsible for organizing and managing a library of technical drawings and related documentation, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
