Engineer - Fit-out works

We are looking for an experienced Engineer (Civil & Fit-out) having atleast 2/3 years experience and having G+1 Dubai Municipality approval.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements.

• Develop detailed work schedules and timelines for the fit-out phase.

Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure materials, labor, and equipment are available as needed.

• Site Management:

Supervise on-site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or discrepancies.

Ensure that all work is completed within the allocated budget and timeline.

• Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.

• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.

Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain project quality.

• Health and Safety:

Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.

• Conduct safety briefings and training for on-site personnel.

Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site logs, and inspection reports.

• Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management.

Ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of construction and fit-out processes, materials, and techniques.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Project Management:

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Communication:

Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.

• Ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Negotiation skills to manage conflicts and secure resources.

• Attention to Detail:

Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to design specifications.

• Ability to identify and rectify defects or issues promptly.

Leadership:

• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate on-site teams.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals.
