Job Summary
We are seeking a Level 2 Network Operations Engineer with expertise in Huawei network products such as iMaster NCE-Campus, iMaster NCE-Fabric, SD-WAN. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimizing our network infrastructure utilizing Huawei's intelligent operations platform. You will play a key role in troubleshooting network issues, ensuring system reliability, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage network performance using Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus SDN and other NMS dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, including issues related to routing, firewalls, switching, SD-WAN, DCN networks and wireless connectivity.
- Collaborate with Level 1 support teams to ensure timely escalation and resolution of network-related issues.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of Huawei network devices and services.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring network problems and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Participate in network maintenance, upgrades, and optimization projects.
- Implement and support network security protocols in alignment with industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support for network-related queries from other network teams.
- Stay current with updates and advancements in Huawei products and related technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in network operations, specifically with Huawei technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
- Experience with Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus, iMaster NCE-Fabric, SD-WAN, AC6805 wireless controllers.
- Proficient in troubleshooting network hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HCNA, HCNP,HCIE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
