Job Purpose:

Functionally own, Develop, Implement and Provide proper Governance Assurance of SABIC's Operating Management Systems (OMS); Strategic Asset Management Planning (SAMP) OMS-412 with its interface with other OMSs and Management Systems in other SABIC functions (E&PM, T&I, Procurement etc.). The occupant develops relationship with Sites SAMP Focal points to assure proper follow up on the OMS during Project Initiation and Development at sites. As well as providing QA/QC for SAMP process implementation. The Occupant receives, reviews and keeps Sites SAMP Plans then aggregates on a SABIC Global Level. He will assure existence of Technical training/coaching/knowledge sharing curricula for improving competencies related to area of responsibility at SABIC globally.

Leadership:

1. Lead SABIC Reliability standards Developments of Strategic Asset Management Planning to increase SABIC Plants Availability and reduce plants cost of production.

2. Lead and drive the Deployment, Monitoring and continues Improvement Process for reliability Programs Strategic Asset Management Planning.

3. Manage a globally distributed team, ensuring common practices, resource utilization, networking and sharing within the team, succession planning and management.

4. Lead and/or participate in relevant internal and external technical networks, conferences and technical committees.

5. Lead facilitation of best practice sharing across sites.

6. Lead Virtual SABIC Organization to assure continuous improvement in regards to Reliability in Design.

7. Lead internal Reliability networking and community of practices to capture learning and develop best practices.

Strategy & Planning:

1. Develop SAMP methodology strategy and execution plan.

2. Develop, implement and govern of SABIC's Manufacturing Global SAMP Strategy.

3. Align Sites/Regions long-term improvement plans with Reliability in Design SABIC Manufacturing Execution strategy targets.

4. Drive to improve maturity of Strategic Asset Management Planning Performance

5. Identify the need of resources at affiliates, the appropriate equipment operation and health data used in SAMP tasks by either affiliates / sites

6. Conduct internal and external benchmarking methodology for Reliability to identify opportunities for improvements.

RISK Management:

1. Monitor and Drive Overall Sites/regions assets risks gap closure processes.

2. Champions overall Asset Risks and report area of improvements to the concerns Stakeholders.

Execution:

1. Develop, improve, and support deployment of SAMP relevant methodologies and relevant work processes.

2. Develop and improve a global SAMP work process leveraging learning from incidents, performance killers, efficacy assessments and audits.

3. Develop, organize and maintain robust exchange rhythms with Manufacturing sites in order to ensure effective drive for established SAMP practices.

5. Drive development and deployment of SAMP Standard and contribute to OMS.

6. Provide an overall assurance of establishing Strategies linked to SAMP.

7. Oversee assurance of proper enablement of Methodologies to promote efficient use of resources.

8. Drive for effective integration and synergy between equipment strategy and SAMP.

9. Provides Reliability support, competent expertise and knowledge to the manufacturing sites globally.

10. Participate in leading the Asset Life Cycle management dimensions in iMEA assessment and conduct common theme analysis yearly to identify opportunity of improvements.

11. Participate in external conferences and networks to explore external opportunities and learn from others.

12. Ensure quality assurance role for application of SAMP by having close surveillance of activities among his team and site activities.

Performance Management:

1. Develop and deploy Reliability framework/Processes.

2. Conduct Reliability analytics globally and identify Sites and Corporates Performance.

3. Collaborate with other corporate functions in driving the compliance to all regulators requirements, sustainability, SEEC and Carbon neutrality.

4. Steward internal and external Reliability Methodology Gap closure and drive for implementations.

5. Conduct SAMP assessments globally to identify area of improvements in performance and culture.

6. Monitor SAMP performance measures globally and intervene timely for corrective actions with relevant sites and corporate functions.

7. Oversee compliance with manufacturing requirements through monitoring and Quality Assurance of sites activity.

8. Develop regular performance reports to related stakeholders.

Knowledge Management:

1. Assure the identification of Expertise requirements and availability of competent resources related to SAMP program.

2. Build and drive dissemination of expertise to ensure leverage of knowledge among Reliability Community.

3. Develop strategies to improve Reliability talent capability building (specialized training, coaching, and mentorship).

4. Collaborate with other Functions and create the required Process to help experts to build and maintain internal/external knowledge network in their area of expertise.

5. Support the development of tailored professional manufacturing capability building within SABIC organizations, through training, development programs including staff rotation and staff qualification / certification as appropriate.

6. Capture and share lesson-learned from incidents internally and externally

7. Participate in establishing annual reward and recognition programs to promote and support continuous improvement relevant to SAMP.

External Collaboration:

1. Support in creating partnerships with OEMs and Engineering Firms.

2. Engage with industrial counterpart to build strong platform for collaboration.

3. Support the growth of Local Contents through efficient engagement with critical Stakeholders and Government Agencies.

General:

1. Ensure legal guidelines are practiced in all related activities including patent awareness.

2. Manage interface with all corporate functions to drive functional ownership aspects.

3. Participate in annual budgets.

4. Compliance with business finance policies

5. Support SABIC Manufacturing initiatives

Other requirements:

  • Required engineering degree.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
