Responsibilities:


As the Engineeering Director of Integrated Services Project (ISP), you will lead a multidisciplinary team to delivery end-to-end projects, combining technical expertise, leadership and project management capabilities. You will define project scopes, establish execution strategies, and ensure safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities:


Oversee engineering activities, from design to execution and maintenance, across various projects
Assign tasks to engineering teams, set long and short term-project goals, approve designs, and perform quality checks
Coordinate with various project management, sales, product lines, and sourcing to define project requirements and deliverables
Participate in cost calculations, contract negotiations and execution plans for safe and efficient project delivery

Safety, Security, and Compliance:

Corporate Governance and Ethics:Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ethics, and compliance within the organization. Ensure that all activities align with legal requirements and industry regulations.
QHSE Prioritization:Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental Protection. Implement robust safety protocols, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
Stop Work Authority:Exercise Stop Work Authority when safety, quality, or integrity concerns arise, ensuring a safe work environment.

Engineering Leadership:


Strategic Communication: Clearly communicate company and ISP goals, project objectives, and performance expectations to the team. Foster alignment and commitment.
Project Management: Oversee all project engineering phases, delegating tasks to engineering teams, from pre-tendering to project closeout. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project engineering requirements.
Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including department budgets, materials, labor, and time. Designs engineering strategies to maximize quality of project execution and productivity.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project execution. Verify project compliance with engineering best practices. Responsible to approve designs and sign-of on deviations from standards through the proper risk assessment and MOC.
Communications: Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level, providing insights on engineering capabilities and constraints. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. Provide regular updates on projects status, challenges, and achievements.

People and Development:

Training and Mentorship:Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members. Foster professional growth and development.

Technical Expertise:


Industry Trends:Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Decision-Making:Guide decisions related to project execution, project management methodologies, and resource allocation.
Participation in Industry Forums: Lead the engineering group to produce and publish industry papers, such as SPE technical papers, that contributes to the overall success and advertising of Weatherford ISP projects.
Decarbonization and Energy Transition:Contribute to projects focused on decarbonization and the transition to sustainable energy sources.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as Engineering Director/Senior Engineering Manager is essential
Experience of managing Integrated Services engineering groups in the upstream sector
Capable to put together teams of experts from various domains (constructing wells, making wells to produce more and for longer, change of use and decommissioning wells)
Experience of applying engineering process and management techniques to ensure the experts produce sound, effective and efficient engineering design for the performance of Integrated Projects
Manage different level of specialties
