Engish Arabic Translator

Ocean2Gulf is hiring 2 senior English-Arabic translators with 3+ years of experience in different fields. Work is home-based with 1-day/week attendance from the company premises (in Nasr City).

Requirements

1. Graduate from English department from the faculty of Al-Alsun or language and translation.
2. proficiency in both languages; Arabic and English.
3. Experience translating different types of texts including general, technical, marketing, political and tourism.
4. Solid background in different CAT programs including desktop-based or web-based programs (such as SDL Studio, memoQ, Phrase, WordBee... etc.)
5. Good communication skills and ability to learn and work within a team.

Preferable

1. Experience with QA using independent QA software such as xBench or Verifika is a plus.
2. Experience with subtitling software is a plus.
