IFC's Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Transactions Advisory (CTA) provides sell-side financial advisory services and acts as Lead Transaction Advisor to governments to structure and implement PPP transactions, primarily for public services. CTA's work entails preparing technical, financial, environmental and social, and legal materials (agreements, presentations, letters, reports etc.) to its clients. All of CTA's documents are prepared in English, which require translation and edits to Arabic when shared with clients and vice versa; Arabic documents received from clients require translation and edits to English.. Consequently, high-quality professional translation and editing is regularly required from English to Arabic and Arabic to English
CTA is seeking an accomplished and experienced Arabic-speaking translator and editor to join its team in the Levant Region as a Short-Term Consultant (STC) to provide high-quality translation and editorial services. Translation and editorial services will be solicited as and when required. CTA considers the quality and confidentiality of its work to be of utmost importance as all materials are disseminated to the high-ranking authorities and officials within governments.
The initial STC contract is expected to last until end-June 2025, with an estimated level of effort of 30 days.
