Job Purpose
Lead and manage the enterprise architecture (EA) practice to support the organization's strategic objectives and adapt to disruptive forces. Ensure alignment between business, application, data, and technology elements with organizational goals and governance principles. Drive the development and implementation of architecture frameworks, standards, and guidelines while overseeing architecture transitions and fostering innovation through emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement the enterprise architecture vision and strategic technology plan.
- Ensure all architectural elements (business, application, data, and technology) align with organizational strategy and governance principles.
- Develop and enforce EA policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with various business units.
- Lead the development of capability-based planning or similar methodologies for architecture transition to achieve the desired future state.
2. Enterprise Architecture Practice
- Establish and manage EA frameworks, standards, and guidelines, covering:
- Application architecture
- Data and content architecture
- Infrastructure architecture
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Information Security Architecture
- Maintain the enterprise blueprint, including business, applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Promote shared architecture components and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance integration.
- Manage the development of SOA reference architecture, ensuring adherence to integration standards and principles.
3. Technology Innovation & Operational Excellence
- Foster innovation by researching and implementing emerging technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, Big Data, and AI.
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing tools and assets to enhance efficiency and reduce implementation timelines.
- Drive the definition of architecture vision, goals, and strategies for major transformation programs and projects.
- Actively contribute to IT portfolio management, benefits realization, and risk management processes.
- Ensure comprehensive management of ENOC's technology portfolio at all levels.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for all architecture components.
- Participate in RFE/RFP/RFQ processes by contributing to technical requirements and evaluation criteria.
5. Financial Management
- Develop, manage, and monitor the IT strategy budget.
- Evaluate and report on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) for strategic IT initiatives.
6. People Management
- Develop workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
- Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team knowledge, skills, and productivity.
- Manage and resolve team conflicts effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional certifications: TOGAF (required); PMP, COBIT, ITIL (preferred).
Experience:
- 13+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in enterprise architecture management.
- Proven experience in developing technology strategies, roadmaps, and architecture transitions.
- Expertise in business, application, data, infrastructure, and security architectures.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, V-Model) and project/portfolio management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to implement digital transformation and manage organizational change.
- Hands-on experience with emerging technologies and their strategic adoption.
