Manage and oversee the support and operation of enterprise and banking applications within the organization
Lead a team of application support professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management
Ensure the availability, performance, and stability of all enterprise and banking applications, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners to identify and address application-related issues and incidents
Develop and implement best practices and processes for application support and operation, focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency
Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patches, and migrations for enterprise and banking applications
Monitor the performance and capacity of application infrastructure, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or performance issues
Manage and maintain documentation for applications, including configuration details, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in enterprise and banking applications, recommending and implementing enhancements or new solutions
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or its equivalent
10+ years of relevant experience in Banking applications in Banking Sectors or telecom
5+ years managing a team of more than 7 members
Operating system fundamentals (Linux, AIX, Windows)
DBs Basics (Oracle, Ms SQL, DB2)
Java development
Knowledge of application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, IIS)
