- Prepare a design for all metadata according to various ETL processes
- Develop both physical and logical data models
- Prepare designs for database systems and recommend improvements for performance
- Engage with Business Stakeholders to ensure that Data Warehouse Strategies are developed in
alignment with business outcomes and corporate goals and strategies.
- Promote and guide the Data Warehouse team to the principles and contents of Technology Strategies to
ensure their correct implementation and adherence.
- Provide support throughout project life cycles, including during the delivery and implementation of solutions,
ensuring patterns and development standards are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure that Data governance standards are fully adhered to, with oversight of data modeling work
- Support warehouse development to optimize performance
- Work closely with Stakeholders and Business Analysts to analyze and translate business requirements into
practical technical requirements and appropriate solutions.

- Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that
work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Architecture & Strategy department to ensure
continuity of work.
- Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations, and internal policies and code of conduct to maintain a sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years of Data warehouse architecture/management/design
- Track record of managing the architecture of multiple change projects/programs in a complex environment
- Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining
- Highly results-driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a very fast-paced environment where
the pace and quality of response is critical to success
- Motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and add value to a team
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills
- Must be cooperative, flexible, and able to work well with others
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
- Hands on experience in the Insurance sector or Financial Services is preferred
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
