Role Summary:
Saudi Arabia Railways is seeking a senior-level Enterprise Risk Management Adviser to join the Strategic Planning & Control Business Unit at SAR. The position reports into the Executive Director of GRC to provide strategic and operational expertise, and support to the department on ERM/INS/BCM governance framework design, deployment, reporting, policy reviews, renewal, and embedding cycle. Moreover, Support all activities and risk registers, BCPs. and serve as an ERM/INS/BCM liaison, internal change agent, and reporting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide support in overseeing and monitoring risk management and business continuity activities (identification, assessment, closure, etc.), and performance across the businesses (including legacy of SRO and HHR), and approve mitigation plans, when necessary.
- Support the Risk assessment studies and EML.
- Insurance Policies Design and Placement Assistance.
- Reports, flags, and escalates major risks and business continuity issues to respective stakeholders and regulators based on risk severity.
- Risk Registers development and cascading efforts enablement.
- Business continuity Plans (BCP) development and testing assistance.
- Support and assist ER / BCM reporting.
- Implements the established ERM and BCM approach, standards, processes, skillset, tools, and guidelines to ensure proper communication with stakeholders.
- Frequent interactions with all departments to liaise in matters related to ER/BCM Department.
- Periodic interactions with the GRC Director to provide monthly updates regarding strategy development.
- Periodic interactions with industry experts to remain updated with the latest trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Engineering. Engineering, Insurance, Risk Management or Economics.
- Master's degree in any of the above courses would be a plus.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role.
