Position Overview:
At Lendo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Risk Management Manager to join our team. The Enterprise Risk Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of our enterprise risk management program. This role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization to identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risks that could impact the achievement of our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Lead risk assessment activities to identify and evaluate risks across all areas of the organization, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to assess risk tolerance, establish risk appetite, and define risk management strategies and objectives.
Facilitate risk workshops and discussions to promote risk awareness, foster a risk-aware culture, and engage stakeholders in risk management activities.
Monitor and report on key risk indicators, emerging risks, and trends to senior management, the board of directors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Develop and maintain risk registers, risk profiles, and risk heat maps to track and communicate identified risks and mitigation efforts.
Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of risk management activities.
Provide guidance and support to business units and functional areas in the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans and controls.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the effectiveness of risk management processes, controls, and mitigation strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to continuously enhance the effectiveness of the enterprise risk management program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
Minimum of (5) years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, compliance, or related fields.
Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks and develop practical solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in risk management software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
