Built Industrial We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management, with extensive experience in the Middle East or North Africa region. The HSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices are met across all construction activities, especially on large-scale projects such as skyscrapers, shopping malls, cinemas, and large administrative buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the health, safety, and environmental strategies for construction projects.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Oversee safety management on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Develop and implement risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Provide training and guidance to all project staff on safety and environmental procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites.
- Prepare safety reports and maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure that safety standards are integrated into all project stages.
- Monitor environmental impacts and manage waste disposal, noise, and emissions to minimize project-related risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction safety management.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction projects in the Middle East or North Africa.
- Previous experience in projects involving skyscrapers, shopping malls, cinemas, or large administrative buildings.
- Certification in NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health).
- Certification in OSHA with 162 hours of training.
- Proficient in using computer software and capable of preparing safety reports.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
