Job Description

The EPM & Sharepoint consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining project management systems and processes within the organization. This role involves working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure the efficient operation of project management tools and the integration of best practices in project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, software development, and enterprise system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Development and Maintenance:
  • Design, develop, and maintain PMO software and tools.
  • Customize project management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for project tracking and performance measurement.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Analyze existing PMO processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and standards in project management.
  • Develop and maintain PMO policies, procedures, and templates.
  1. Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to project managers and team members on PMO tools and processes.
  • Create user guides, manuals, and training materials.
  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting for PMO tools and systems.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between the PMO and other departments to promote the use of project management tools and methodologies.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for project management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in EPM & Sharepoint
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project management tools and systems.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management frameworks.
